Weaving/Spinning & Other Fibre
Creations
Currently I work on a tapestry loom and on an Inkle loom, Cardweaving and pebble weave (picked) bands. I am also (still) working on processing a lot of wool and other fibres to ready them for spinning. I guess I'm doing the whole gambit, but I jump around, so stay tuned for more pictures and adventures in my Fibre journey.

History of my recent Fibre Journey
In college I fell in love with Fibre arts. I used mostly cotton because I had a reaction to wool, which I later found out was the lanolin. Not many of my weavings have survived the years of storage. When I retired, my love for all my different mediums started to tug at me and in the last few years I've taught myself the process of preparing fibre (I can wash the wool and survive!) for dyeing, spinning, weaving and other uses. Currently I am weaving on a rigid heddle loom, an inkle loom and frame looms. Visit my blog for information of my journey with fibre prep!.
My first creation on a floor loom, circa 1975.

Last year while recouping from a hip replacement, I decided I'd break out my one and only Leclerc Loom and created the hanging to the right of this text. It is Hampshire wool, which was gifted to me. I clean, carded, dyed with tumeric and avacado and spun the yarn. Then wove it in a semi tapestry/rigid heddle fashion.
